Welcome Cafe - A Dementia-Friendly Space for Everyone
Deckchair Care proudly hosts a free, not-for-profit Welcome Café every Monday during term time at Gatley United Reformed Church, Elm Road. This welcoming, dementia-friendly gathering is open to everyone in the local community—especially those living with Alzheimer’s and their carers.
It’s a relaxed, friendly place to connect, unwind, and enjoy some fun together. Whether you’re looking for companionship, support, or simply a warm smile, you’re always welcome here.

Running EVERY MONDAY afternoon (school term time) from 1-3pm at:
Elm Road Church Halls
Elm Road
Gatley
SK8 4LY
Activities will change weekly, but may include:
Afternoon Tea
Crafts
Games – scrabble / bingo / jigsaws / quizzes
Films
This is a non-profit making event. A voluntary donation can be made – all proceeds to the running of the weekly cafe. We look forward to Welcoming You!
Deckchair Care & Elm Road URC – Working in partnership to support members of the local community, reduce loneliness and prevent social isolation.
Please note: This is not a day-care centre. Care staff will be on site but will not be responsible for people who attend the event.
