At Deckchair Care, we believe everyone deserves to live with comfort, dignity, and happiness at home.

By offering bespoke care packages, we aim to integrate into the lives of our clients and family in a way that does not interrupt, but complements and improves home living, with person-centred care at the heart of all we do.

Since we began providing care services in 2018, our ethos has not changed – in fact our resolve has only strengthened – “To deliver a care service designed to enhance the quality, enrich the experience and prolong the enjoyment of home-living in our society.

Deckchair Care remain an independent, locally-owned business that prides itself on the service we offer.  We provide a fully-transparent service, offering the same contract terms, regardless of your package of care:

  • Agreed visit times, with a 15-minute arrival window.
  • Carers spend all of their time with clients, no time deductions for travel.
  • No extra / hidden fees for mileage.
  • Same hourly rate for evenings and weekends (except Bank Holidays).
  • Only 48 hours’ notice required to cancel an appointment without charge*.
  • No charge for up to 7 days, if clients are hospitalised at short notice.
  • 45-minute visits available (after 11am).
  • 14-day notice period. 
  • Online real-time access to schedules and visit notes.
  • A bespoke care package for every client, every detail covered.
  • Directly-employed carers.
  • Packages available from as little as 2 hours per week.

We like to think that Deckchair’s remind people of happy, fun times in a place they love with people they want to be with. We get a lot of positive feedback about our name; we also like to think it encapsulates the way we approach our work!
